How can I get a quote for Sax and Honey?
To get a quote simply email or call us, giving us as much information as you can about your event. We check our email daily and promise to follow up your enquiry within 48 hours of receiving it.

Once we have had a chat with you about your plans, we will then send you a letter outlining our services, together with a brochure, demo CD and fully inclusive quote.

Once you have received our letter, brochure and demo you can then take a few weeks to make your decision. We can hold your wedding date as a provisional booking for up to four weeks, however we do recommend that you contact us as soon as possible if you wish to book (and especially if your event is being held in the peak summertime.)

To confirm your booking we simply require a non-refundable deposit of £100 + VAT made payable to Sax and Honey. We’ll then send back a letter of confirmation, contract and receipt of your deposit.

Can I see Sax and Honey playing live before I book?
Yes, you can - and we highly recommend it as we want you to be one hundred percent assured of the quality service we will provide for your day. We have been the resident musicians at Haven Bistro and Bar in North London since January 2006 and perform there every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night from 7pm - 10pm. Do let us know if you are planning on coming and we will reserve you a table.

How do I book?
We can hold your date as a provisional booking for approximately 4 weeks, however to secure your date you will need to send us a non-returnable £100 + VAT deposit. We also provide you with a contract which details exactly what services we will provide for you on your day.

How soon should I book?
If you are planning a summer wedding then you’ll know that the popular dates fill up fast and that the best suppliers get booked early - so it is really never too soon to confirm your booking. We have up to 40 confirmed bookings in our diary at any time and are happy to take bookings up to 18 months in advance so it is advisable to secure your date with us as soon as you can.

What if Sax and Honey is already booked on my day?
In the event that Sax and Honey is already booked on your day, we can supply you with exactly the same act using alternative musicians. Our singers and sax players are all full-time professional jazz musicians with a wealth of experience performing with Sax and Honey – so the act is in all respects identical. Our pool of musicians are also invaluable in the event that either of us is unable to be there on your day due to illness, accident or any unforeseen circumstance.

Can Sax and Honey play in different locations around my venue?
Yes, we are more than happy to play in more than one location on your day - for example to set up outside for your drinks reception and then to move through to the area you will be eating. Moving and setting up takes approximately 15 - 20 minutes.

Can Sax and Honey play outside?
Yes, playing outside is no problem. All we need is some level ground to set up on (flat lawn is OK), protection from the weather (sun/rain/wind) in the form of a gazebo, marquee or large umbrella and access to one domestic power point within approx. 15 metres of our playing position. If absolutely no power is available then we can perform with a small battery powered amp.

Is there anything extra the duo will require on the day?
Our contract with you always includes a request for a hot meal (of a similar standard, though not necessarily the same, to that supplied to your guests) and provision of bottled water/non-alcoholic drinks as required.

If possible we also request a room in which to change before we play, to store our equipment and to rest in between sets. We appreciate that this is not always possible but are grateful when it is.

Parking close to the venue and a suitable area to offload our equipment is also very helpful.

What if I postpone or cancel my event?
If you need to postpone your event then we will be happy to reappoint however the fee quoted may increase if the travel time is significantly greater or if your new date is more than 12 months after the original date booked. The line-up of Sax and Honey may also change subject to availability, however this would not affect the quality or nature of the act.

In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your event we will retain your non-refundable deposit and will charge a cancellation fee as outlined in our contract with you.
