Sax & Honey can enhance the atmosphere at any or all of the key moments of your wedding day – whether it be elegant, romantic music to set the scene for your wedding ceremony, stylish upbeat jazz for your champagne reception, cool background music as an accompaniment to your wedding meal or a dance-floor filling set for your evening entertainment.

Before Your Ceremony
Live music is the perfect way to set the scene as your family and friends gather for your wedding ceremony (and a great way to soothe the nerves of an anxious groom!) We can play a selection of romantic jazz standards or soulful contemporary music while your guests await your entrance.

During Your Wedding Ceremony
Your walk down the aisle is possibly the most romantic and memorable moment of your day and we will be delighted to play the song you’ve chosen to accompany your entrance. You may already have your heart set on a specific song, or if you’d like our advice we are more than happy to offer our suggestions. We can then play one or two songs while you sign the register and, at the end of your ceremony, we can play you both back down the aisle to the upbeat, celebratory song of your choice.

You can choose from the literally hundreds of romantic tunes already in our set – whether jazz or contemporary - or if you would prefer something different then please just ask. We can source additional backing tracks or offer you the option of either an unaccompanied vocal solo or a sax solo to add that extra special uniqueness to your ceremony.

During Your Champagne and Photographs
You may well choose your drinks reception as the time to have most of your formal photographs taken and live background music is a great way to keep your friends and family entertained while this is happening. Sax & Honey can provide you with one or more sets of upbeat swing, Latin jazz and soulful contemporary music. We are more than happy to set up and play outside if the weather is favourable – we just need some level ground, some shade and access to a power socket.

During Your Wedding Meal
Sax & Honey’s smooth, sophisticated sound is the ideal accompaniment to all or part of your wedding meal. We will adjust our sound levels accordingly, we can time our sets to accommodate your speeches, cake cutting and any other special events during your meal and we will supply recorded background music whenever we are not playing live. We are also happy to make any announcements through our sound system should you need us to.

For Your Evening
Sax & Honey's set includes a high-energy mix of Ratpack Swing, Jump Jive, Latin Jazz, Rock & Roll, Sixties, R&B and soulful classics which is ideal to kick off your evening's dancing before handing over to a DJ or band. We have some fantastic choices for first dances too!

If you are planning a more intimate evening (perhaps with a casino or lounge-bar feel), or if your venue has sound or space restrictions then we can also take care of your entire evening's entertainment.

We can provide three 50-minute sets of danceable classics from the Rat Pack to the present day (or more chilled lounge/cocktail jazz if you prefer), with background music supplied in all our breaks. By prior agreement, we can also arrange for you to use our sound system to play your own iPod compilation for up to an hour after our live-set finishes.
