Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and choosing the right style of entertainment is an essential part of the planning.

Before Your Ceremony
Live music is a fantastic scene-setter as your family and friends gather for your wedding ceremony (and is also a great way to calm the nerves of an anxious groom!). You might prefer a solo saxophone to welcome your guests or perhaps a selection of mellow, jazz standards on a romantic theme. We have plenty of suggestions for you and can make it easy to choose just the right thing for your day.

During Your Ceremony
The bride's entrance, the signing of the register and the recessional are all exciting and memorable moments, so what could be more fitting than to have live music to enhance the atmosphere at these important times. Sax and Honey's set-list includes literally hundreds of classic, romantic tunes which are ideal for ceremonies - from classic Nina Simone, Bobby Darin and Ella Fitzgerald to more contemporary Eva Cassidy, Van Morrison and Norah Jones.

If you would prefer something that isn't on our existing set then that's no problem too, as we can source additional backing tracks or offer you the option of either an unaccompanied vocal solo or a sax solo to add that extra special uniqueness to your ceremony. Of course if you have a special piece of recorded music you'd like to have played on CD then we can take care of that too.

During Champagne and Photographs
A glass of champagne, a great conversation with friends and the mellow sound of jazz playing in the background - the perfect ingredients for a stylish reception to celebrate your marriage. The drinks reception is also a popular time for the wedding party to have photographs taken with family and friends, so live background music is a great way to keep your guests entertained while you deal with these necessary formalities.

During Your Wedding Meal
Smooth, background jazz is the perfect accompaniment to great food. We play at a level that enhances the atmosphere while ensuring that it never dominates proceedings or detracts from you and your guests' enjoyment of your meal. We can easily turn up or down to suit your guests and can adjust the length of our sets to accommodate speeches, cake cutting and any other special events during the meal.

For Your Evening
Sax and Honey's set includes an irresistible mix of swing, jive, latin, rock and roll and R&B which is ideal to start off your evening's dancing before handing over to a DJ or band. We have some fantastic choices for first dances too!

We can provide three 50-minute sets of danceable classics from the Rat Pack to the present day (or more chilled lounge/cocktail jazz if you prefer), with background music supplied in all our breaks.
